If you follow us on some other platforms, you will know by now that we have absconded from the dreary UK to sunnier shores, to Portugal in fact.
I have much to say about the why behind our move (spoiler alert: Home Office can go fuck itself). Our experiences moving “properly” across countries with all our stuff, the legal side of being a Portuguese resident (and buying a house), and many other subjects but for now – we are in Portugal, we own our home. I have residency, Elise will have hers presently and life is pretty good.
